Pros/cons:
Easy to repair
Wide range of colors and styles
Can be seamless
Only somewhat heat resistant, not ideal for hot pots and pans
Stain resistant
Scratches fairly easily, and scratches show more on solid colors
Sensitive to chemicals
Maintenance free
Darker colors may require more attention than lighter colors
Affordable alternative to quartz, marble and granite
Doesn't have same luster or sparkle as granite or quartz
How to clean and maintain corian:
Use warm soapy water, an ammonia-based cleaner (but not window cleaner as those can dull surface), or a dedicated countertop cleaner
Microfiber clothes are best for cleaning
Clean using a circular motion
Wipe counters completely dry after washing countertops
Can use bleach on white corian countertops, but no more than 50% bleach in bleach/water mixture and do not leave on more than 16 hours
No sealer necessary
Can buff out minor scratches at home
